Welcome to HomeYeti.com (“HomeYeti,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, forms, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
About HomeYeti: We are a lead generation platform. We collect homeowner requests and sell or share the lead to independent contractors/service professionals (“Contractors”). We do not perform services, supervise Contractors, guarantee outcomes, or vouch for any Contractor.
You must be 18+ to use the Services.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
If you create an account, keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
We connect you with independent Contractors based on your request.
We may sell or share your request and contact details to one or more Contractors and/or marketing partners so they can contact you about your project or related offers.
We do not endorse Contractors, set prices, control schedules, guarantee workmanship, conduct background checks, or provide insurance.
Any work you engage is solely between you and the Contractor. You must conduct your own diligence.
By submitting a request or otherwise providing your contact information, you expressly consent to be contacted by HomeYeti and by Contractors and our marketing/communication partners via:
phone calls (including prerecorded or automated calls),
SMS/MMS text messages,
voicemail drops,
email,
postal mail.
Standard message/data rates may apply. You can opt out of HomeYeti marketing emails at any time via “unsubscribe” and opt out of HomeYeti texts by replying STOP; doing so may limit our ability to connect you with a Contractor or provide updates. You may need to separately opt out directly with any Contractor who contacts you.
HomeYeti is not a party to your agreement with any Contractor.
We do not warrant quality, safety, licensure, insurance, pricing, availability, or compliance with law by any Contractor.
You are responsible for verifying permits, licenses, insurance, references, and the scope/price/timing of any job.
HomeYeti is not liable for Contractor actions, omissions, delays, damages, data practices, or disputes.
You agree not to:
use the Services unlawfully or to submit false/misleading requests;
interfere with the Services, scrape, mine, or reverse engineer;
upload viruses or harmful code;
impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
attempt to access non-public areas or systems.
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation.
You are responsible for content you submit (project details, photos, reviews, messages).
You represent you have rights to share it and that it is accurate and lawful.
You grant HomeYeti a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute such content to operate, market, and improve the Services (including sharing with Contractors/partners).
We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference). You understand and agree that we sell or share your information to Contractors and partners for the purposes described there. Once shared, HomeYeti isn’t responsible for third-party handling of your data; review their privacy policies.
The Services may link to third-party websites, tools, ads, or platforms. We don’t control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, security, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
The Services (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by HomeYeti or its licensors and are protected by IP laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Services.
If you send suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you grant HomeYeti a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or attribution.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” HOMEYETI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTRACTOR OR JOB WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR COMPLY WITH LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOMEYETI (AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL; OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION; ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES OR ANY CONTRACTOR ENGAGEMENT—EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE EXTENT ANY LIABILITY IS NOT LAWFULLY EXCLUDABLE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HomeYeti and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
(a) your use of the Services; (b) your content or communications; (c) your Contractor engagement; (d) your violation of law or these Terms.
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason. Upon termination, Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, arbitration) will survive.
If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice that includes: (i) your physical/electronic signature; (ii) identification of the copyrighted work; (iii) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location; (iv) your contact info; (v) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; (vi) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act.

Informal Resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to email us at hello@homeyeti.com with a brief description of the dispute and your contact info so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
Arbitration Agreement. If not resolved, you and HomeYeti agree to binding arbitration on an individual basis under the Federal Arbitration Act. Arbitration will be administered by the AAA under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator shall have the exclusive authority to resolve disputes regarding interpretation, applicability, or enforceability of this arbitration provision (except the Class-Action Waiver below). Each party pays its own attorneys’ fees unless the arbitrator awards otherwise under applicable law. You may choose to conduct the arbitration by telephone/video or based on written submissions. The seat of arbitration will be Mercer County, New Jersey, unless the arbitrator permits another location or remote proceedings.
Excluded Claims. Either party may bring (i) individual claims in small-claims court, and (ii) actions seeking injunctive relief for IP or data-security misuse.
Class-Action Waiver. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISPUTES ARE ARBITRATED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS—NO CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS. Only a court (not the arbitrator) may decide the enforceability of this Class-Action Waiver.
Opt-Out. You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice within 30 days of first accepting these Terms to: HomeYeti.com – Arbitration Opt-Out, 213 Carnegie Center, Suite #3033, Princeton, NJ 08550. Your opt-out must include your name, address, the email/phone you used with HomeYeti, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflicts of laws principles and except as preempted by the Federal Arbitration Act. Subject to the arbitration clause, the exclusive venue for any permitted court action is state or federal courts located in Mercer County, New Jersey; you consent to their jurisdiction.
Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect to the fullest extent permitted.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them without restriction.
No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Entire Agreement: These Terms + our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and HomeYeti concerning the Services.
Headings: For convenience only, no legal effect.
